Kristin Seaver is a senior executive at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), where she leads initiatives focused on government modernization, civic innovation, digital transformation, and customer engagement across federal civilian agencies. She is recognized for her expertise in technology, logistics, operations, cybersecurity, and large-scale organizational transformation.

Prior to joining GDIT, Seaver spent more than 30 years with the United States Postal Service (USPS), serving in several executive leadership positions, including:

  • Chief Retail and Delivery Officer
  • Chief Information Officer (CIO)
  • Incident Commander for the USPS COVID-19 Pandemic Response
  • As Chief Retail and Delivery Officer, she oversaw operations involving more than 450,000 employees, a fleet of over 280,000 vehicles, and delivery services reaching approximately 160 million addresses daily. [gdit.com], [meritalk.com]

As USPS CIO, she led enterprise-wide digital modernization efforts, modernized legacy technology systems, strengthened cybersecurity governance, and helped expand digital services such as Informed Delivery, which provides consumers with digital previews of incoming mail.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Seaver served as Incident Commander, coordinating USPS's response with stakeholders including Congress, the Postal Service Board of Governors, and labor organizations while maintaining nationwide postal operations. 

At GDIT, she focuses on helping government agencies modernize operations through technology, align mission outcomes with innovative solutions, and build trusted customer relationships across the federal civilian sector.

Seaver is widely regarded as a transformational leader known for leveraging people, technology, and innovation to improve mission performance and customer experience in large and highly regulated organizations. She has also served in advisory and board roles supporting government acquisition, technology, and postal infrastructure initiative.
